Moments of Breathing with You
Wed 12 – Sat 15 May
Cornerhouse in collaboration with FutureEverything, is pleased to host artist-in-residence Hafsah Naib. She will undertake a four-day residency responding to current exhibition Contemporary Art Iraq, locating her site-specific practice within the context and site of Cornerhouse galleries, initiating and facilitating a range of creative encounters with visitors in order to produce an online moving book.
Every hour of the exhibition, she will initiate an encounter and document it visually in collaboration with a gallery-goer through various mediums, including writing, video, photography and drawing.
Hafsah works within a site-specific way negotiating access into a range of places and spaces through which notions of public and private, individual and collective, contemporary art and popular culture can be explored.
This is a joint Cornerhouse and FutureEverything project.
